All my friends have birthdays in February. Okay, not all of them. But an unreasonable amount of them have a birthday in February. I just spent $34 I do not have on two medium pizzas and 5 cokes because the cashier decided to swindle me. I asked for a SINGULAR medium pizza, he said I should get a large cause it's cheaper. So I got a large. Then he said something about medium-sized pizza but I could barely make out what he was saying because he had a strong Armenian accent (which I have no issue with, but I already have horrendous hearing & walking for 15 minutes in the blazing sun on a upward hill didn't help) and I just said "SURE THANKS". He said 24 dollars at first, then said 34 and at that point I was already too deep in it so I just paid. I ended up getting 2 pizzas. I did not order two pizzas. But maybe it was a blessing in disguise cause I ended up eating 3 whole slices.
I didn't post yesterday because as soon as I came home (soaking wet by the way, thanks Californian rain) I just decided to go to bed and didn't wake up till 9pm, then my mom decided to rip me a new one for no reason and I just decided to go back to sleep. I have this weird bi-weekly routine with my mother where she yells at me, tells me how horrible I am, asks me not to cry for her when she dies because "I didn't care about [her] when [she] was living anyways", and then 5 minutes later she'll come up to me and be like "Heyy... Do you want some fruit..." I had to learn to just stay quiet and pivot as much as I can. If you've ever seen that image of the lion yelling at the monkey, that's the best way to describe the relationship between my mom and I.
I'll have to go to another birthday party soon, but we'll just be hanging out at a mall but it's a bit farther out so I'll have to carpool with some friends. And then it's my brother's birthday soon which I'm obviously more excited for.
I included a photo of a team-building exercise thing from my sister's job I found on the ground, I just thought it looked nice. Gives me lumon/severance vibes.
